Welcome to Brean
This year, Furcation is returning to Brean!
Our friends at John Fowler will be welcoming us back to their biggest park, Sandy Glade! We loved our time in Sandy Glade in 2019 and 2022, we hope to bring you more of the same for 2023.
Unlike our first years at Combe Martin, it's not in the middle of nowhere! There's motorways, and train stations, running real trains that aren't converted buses! It's less than an hour from Bristol, so transport links are very well maintained.
Sandy Glade Holiday Park
Sandy Glade is one of John Fowler's largest parks, featuring accommodation for hundreds of people in pretty much the same stuff you've come to expect - static caravans of various descriptions, chalets and lodges too.
Some of our accommodation options have enough beds for upto 8 people to share.
But if you prefer some solitary peace and quiet we have single berth options too.
The lodges are located in the Sandy Meadows area of the park, with the chalets being nearest the clubhouse, and other facilities.
We have exclusive use of the park thanks to our later date, meaning you get to take full advantage of its features including:
- On-site shop
- Something called a "Foxy Club for Children", though with all the fursuits around you won't be needing that.
- Free Wi-Fi in the Clubhouse (although with us now being in the M4 corridor, Burnham should be covered with 3 and 4G)
- Bar meals
- Come see the park John Fowler Holidays called "A Big & Lively Park"!
Furcation has been allocated a variety of units available to suit various budgets and group sizes.
If you'd like more information on the features of each type of unit click the links below.
All photographs are provided as a representative guide and may not picture the exact unit you receive. E.g. Decor, layout and furnishings may vary but will be of similar standard. However, please note hot tubs will not be available for use during your stay in any of the accommodation.
Our pricing page has a full break down of the cost of each unit depending on group size.
Burnham & Brean
Sandy Glade is situated between the towns of Brean and Burnham, the former being a small holiday resort and the latter being a larger holiday resort. Burnham has pretty much everything you need from a town, including big supermarkets, shopping, a seafront, a pier, and a huge beach.
Brean sands features a lovely wide stretch of sand just beyond the dunes. Just be aware that the Bristol Channel has the second-largest tidal range in the world, so don't be surprised if you go out expecting sea and instead find miles and miles of mudflats. Don't go on them, seriously.
