Getting There


Holton Heath is well-served by most forms of transportation, including:


Rail

The nearest railway station is Holton Heath. There are no further public transport links from this station however the Sandford Holiday Park is approximately a 20 min walk (0.8 miles) from the station. Upon leaving the station, follow Station Road (Private Road but with a public footpath) to the crossroads with Sandford Road (A351). Proceed straight across the crossroad onto Organford Road. Sandford Holiday Park is then the first left on Organford Road.

This route is mostly flat with a 36ft climb across the first half of the route.


Bus

The 40 ‘Purbeck Breezer’ runs between Swanage Bus Station and Poole Bus Station and stops directly outside the Sandford Holiday Park on Organford Road. At the time Furcation is running, this bus will be every two hours and further details can be found here

Poole bus station is serviced by National Express coaches.


Road

The closest major road is the A35 which connects to the A37, A303 and A31. Sandford Holiday Park is approximately 5 mins drive (1.4 miles) from the Bakers Arms roundabout on the A35.

If you're flying in, Southampton Airport is the best served airport nearby. There are flights to and from Belfast, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Paris, Jersey and Guernsey. There, you can catch a train to Holton Heath from the airport’s railway station.
